Apocalypse Now

Francis Ford Coppola's Vietnam war film Apocalypse Now (1979) ended with the dying words of half-crazed Colonel Kurtz (Marlon Brando) as he was assassinated. The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) ended with the words: "Madness! Madness!"
