The Cable Guy

The infamous and satirical black comedy, The Cable Guy (1996), which starred comic Jim Carrey as the malevolent and pathological cable installer, was the first film to break the $20 million salary barrier for the actor. Julia Roberts' first $20 million film was Erin Brockovich (2000).
