Taapsee Pannu - Women of the Year 2017.

Taapsee Pannu is an Indian actress and model, She was born in New Delhi into a Jat Sikh family. She has a sister named Shagun Pannu and plans to launch her into films as well.

She has been Nicknamed as Maggie (probably due to her curly hairs) and glam-doll.

Taapsee started learning Kathak and Bharatnatyam since fourth grade. She took the dance seriously and won several inter-college dance competitions.

She is a computer science graduate and has also worked as a software engineer. She has also developed app when she was a Student.

Taapsee has won several titles during her modelling days, including “Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face” and “Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin” at the 2008 Femina Miss India contest.

She became a full-time model after she auditioned and was selected for Channel V's talent show Get Gorgeous, which eventually led her to acting.

Taapsee is a sports lover and a player, she is an avid Squash player.

Taapsee is one of the adventurous actresses who loves riding bikes and also does movie stunts by herself.

Taapsee has also been the face of the magazines of ‘Just For Women’ and ‘MaaStars’. She was nominated twice for best supporting actress in Filmfare for her movies Mr. Perfect and Arrambam.

Apart from being an actress, she is also an entrepreneur and a successful wedding planner. She runs an event company called “The Wedding Factory”.
