Do Dads Come Back ?

Yes, you read it right. Death is a truth which no one can deny, and another bitter truth is that we all have to face it, there is no escape. But, now the question is... does someone come back after leaving us forever ?

Yes, some do. How ? I have the answer!

The sun of my life can never, now rise
Yes I am so much in pain after my dad's demise.

Since when he left us
When I met a close friend of him, uncle Vinay
With a gentle smile said, "You now resemble your dad !
Yes, you have slightly started looking like him."

Really ?
Oh I remember, people say
Fathers do come back, after they've gone, after so many years,
in the form of their son!

They do come back in son's conversations, the way he talks,
also in the son's tone of voice,
They do come back in son's old age activities,
They do come back in the way son behaves too.

The nature of the son changes, when he grows old
The son resembles his dad now
This way, Dads do come back in their sons !

Now since ages have gone,
Sometimes, still I just can't stop myself from thinking
"When he had to come back like this,
then why did he leave me in the first place ?"

After this thought which tears me apart,
The next moment I realise, that I have grown from a boy into a man.
"Would I ever have grown up till my dad was there beside me ?"

I guess,
Just to make me realise my responsibilities,
to transform me into something, as my dad was,
Left he ?

Are you, just like us, waiting for the second season of 'Sacred Games'? Well, then you'll be glad to know that the makers have something special to keep you at ease until the show finally goes on air.

Netflix India has dropped the character posters of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan. If you have seen the first season, you would by now be dying to know how the story of Ganesh Gaitonde and Sartaj Singh unfolds. Going by their character posters, we can guess that this time, it will be more intense, dark and gritty.

It's not a hidden fact that Nawazuddin did an exemplary job in portraying the character as intense like Gaitonde in the first season, so it goes without saying that he will come through with more power in the second season.

Nawaz took to Twitter to share his look poster and wrote, "Pichli baar kya bola tha Ganesh bhai ko ? Aukaaat...!!! #GaneshGaitonde2.0 @SacredGames_TV @NetflixIndia @anuragkashyap72." In the poster, Nawaz is all suited and booted unlike the previous season. He will be taking us through his life's journey and how he became the Mumbai's kingpin in season two. We all know that Nawaz leaves no stone unturned to make his character look 100 per cent convinving onscreen. Check out the tweet here:

The makers have also shared the poster of Saif and he has an injured hand which adds to the curiosity of what would be there in store for us and the viewers. The second season has been helmed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan. Ghaywan has replaced Vikramaditya Motwane and it will be interesting to see how he takes the story forward.

A while back, the promo of 'Sacred Games' 2 was released. Two new actors Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey have been introduced. Pankaj Tripathi or 'Guruji' will be seen playing an important role in this season.

Virgil van Dijk feels it is only a matter of time before Mohamed Salah is back among the goals.

17-03-2019 Sunday’s 2-1 victory at Fulham represented the seventh successive Liverpool game in which Salah has not scored but, despite that run, the forward’s record this season still reads an impressive 20 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.

Such has been the Egyptian’s phenomenal impact since his arrival at Anfield in the summer of 2017, he stands on the brink of becoming the quickest player in the club’s history to reach 50 Premier League strikes.

Salah’s 49 in the top flight have come in only 67 appearances - five fewer than it took current record-holder Fernando Torres to hit his half-century.

And, speaking after the win at Craven Cottage that took the Reds back to the top of the Premier League, Van Dijk said his teammate’s recent lack of goals is no cause for concern.

“Mo is a world-class player,” the center-back told Liverpoolfc.

“People can say all they want but I think all the teams in the Premier League would love to have him in their side. We have him and I think he is playing well.

“The goals will come. That’s something for a striker that is maybe going to be in your head but we tell him every time: you just need to keep working, keep going and you will be fine.

“He’s still scored plenty of goals for us, to be fair, so it’s not like two like me! It is like this.”
